About Project S

Projects Architecture was founded by James Shaughnessy on the core principals of honesty, quality, and integrity. James started his career in 1986, his first semester at NYIT School of Architecture, when he was hired as a draftsperson at LCP Associates to help produce working drawings, “By-Hand”, using pencil on mylar “Pin-Bar” Method. Under the tutelage of master draftsmen and sleeping only 3-4-hours a day while attending architecture school and working 20-30 hours a week for LCP Associates, sculpted James for his future.

35 Years later, James has become an accomplished architectural problem solver with a strong passion for developing a design that is rooted in our client’s deepest interests and personally seeing that it is successfully built. We find it critical to maintain an emphasis on communication, thoroughness & quality control, while also providing careful & extensive coordination with all professional  consultants and contractors. This consistently leads to a comprehensive set of contract documents, which steadily results to maintaining project budgets, deliverables, and schedules.
